Why I built this
Every weekend, the same ritual: scrolling through curated “what to watch” lists, each one really just a curator's personal taste dressed up as a recommendation. I didn't want someone else's opinion. I wanted to see what was actually available and decide for myself what sounded interesting.
Some nights there's no strong opinion in the room, and that's when the search turns tedious — and you still never see the full picture, because every list leaves something out.
After 27+ years as a developer, I figured I could build the thing I wanted: a way to see what's actually out there, with nobody else's bias standing between you and the remote.
